EARLY EXCLUSIVE U.S. PREMIERE OF YU-GI-OH! GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP

Kids’ WB!, the #1 broadcast network for kids, is gearing up for the new 2005-2006 season with a special early treat for its viewers. The network will debut the exclusive U.S. premiere of Yu-Gi-Oh! Grand Championship, the much-anticipated fifth season of the white-hot anime-hit series, beginning Saturday, August 27, airing at 8 a.m. ET (7 a.m. PT) and 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. PT).

IT’S TIME TO DUEL:
On Saturday, August 27, Kids’ WB! will reveal an entirely new adventure as the season begins with the ultimate defeat of the villainous Dartz, who led an ancient civilization of the lost Island of Atlantis 10,000 years ago. As order is now being restored in the world, Yugi and the gang are ready to go home and move on with their normal lives. Unfortunately, they have traveled halfway around the globe and have no way of getting home.

Never half a step behind, Kaiba offers to fly them home in his private jet, but on one condition – Yugi and Joey must participate in his latest game tournament: the KC Grand Championship. Kaiba has invited the 16 greatest duelists of the world to compete in this elite, all-star event. The winner of this game, will have the privilege to face-off with Yugi for his Duel Monsters Championship crown. Don’t miss it as the game of Duel Monsters will change forever!
