Konami has announced the production of Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters – World Championship Tournament 2006 for the Game Boy Advance.
Konami has announced today that production is currently underway for the Game Boy Advance title, Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters – World Championship Tournament 2006. As the official video game for the 2006 Yu-Gi-Oh! World Tournament, the GBA title is set to introduce a number of new features to the series.

The forthcoming title form Konami is set to include over two-thousand individual cards from the widely popular trading card game. The additions to the allotment of cards present within the title is said to greatly increase the level of strategy associated with both offensive and defensive tactics within the game. As an added bonus, Konami is also including three three limited edition trading cards from the new set, GX Universe with every game sold.

The company will also include a number of new gameplay features to spice up the level of action. New modes such as Dual Puzzle, where players must complete a series of objectives, the likes of which must be finished in a single turn within the game. A Limited Duel mode places drastic restrictions in regards to the overall structure of player’s decks, and also inhibits the moves available to each user.

Additional modes such as a Theme Duel and Survival Duel are also set to appear in the upcoming GBA title. In Theme Duel, players are given a set of specific in game conditions that must be reached in order for one to be declared victorious. Survival mode on the other hand, places users in the tough position of battling several opponents with a limited number of life points at their disposal.

Konami will also include support for the Game Boy Advance link cable to allow friends to easily test out their skills against one another. Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters is currently well underway in terms of production and is slated to release this coming March.
