Yu-Gi-Oh! Demo Day Announced!

The Demo Day ‘Bring a Friend’ campaign is a great way to introduce even more players to Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Organized Play

Konami is announcing today the next Yu-Gi-Oh! Demo Day. This exciting program is being held nationwide at Official Tournament Stores (OTS), on December 5, 2015. Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) Duelists are encouraged to bring a friend to Demo Day to get a one-of-a-kind item not available anywhere else!

Held at select OTS throughout North and Latin America, Yu-Gi-Oh! Demo Day is designed to give new and novice Duelists a safe and inviting place to learn how to play with others who are also new to the game.  Parents are also encouraged to participate in the fun and to see what the Yu-Gi-Oh! Community has to offer. These select Official Tournament Stores will have staff on-site to conduct Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME demonstrations for new Duelists with Demo Decks, Dueling Guides, and prizing available for anyone that actively participates in Demo Day.

New this year is a “Bring a Friend” campaign – current or even new players that refer a new player will receive an exclusive, lenticular, foldable Deck Case only available at Demo Day, plus a random booster pack included in the kit. In addition, new players that were referred to Yu-Gi-Oh! Demo Day will also receive an exclusive lenticular Deck Case, a random booster pack, and additional Demo Decks to help them build out their card collection.

Q: What is Demo Day?

Demo Day events are designed to provide new players with a place to learn how to play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME. Demo Day is held simultaneously throughout North America. The event is scheduled to occur on Saturday, December 5th, 2015.

Q: What is the Bring a Friend promotion?

This Demo Day will also include the Bring a Friend promotion, which rewards current players for referring new players to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME.

The Bring a Friend promotion is intended to include a pair of players who meet the following criteria:

• One (1) Duelist who already knows how to play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME and a minimum of one (1) Duelist who is brand new to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME and does not already own a COSSY ID, or;
• Two (2) Duelists who are brand new to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME and do not already own a COSSY ID
