The highly anticipated Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Forbidden & Limited List update has been released, effective December 9, 2024, and it’s expected to significantly impact various decks in the meta.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game community has experienced a significant event with the latest update to the Forbidden & Limited List, effective from December 9, 2024.
The announcement was made live during the YCS Anaheim event, which was well-received for its excitement and engagement. However, opinions on the banlist’s content are divided. Some players believe it failed to address the dominance of newly released powerful decks, while others felt the changes were unnecessary or misaimed.
Despite the mixed reactions to the list itself, the community largely agrees that future banlist announcements should continue to be live events to maintain high levels of engagement.
