We are pleased to announce that a “Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series” will take place in Knoxville, TN on June 1-2, 2019!

A Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series (YCS) is a big, exciting 2-day event that takes place from Saturday to Sunday. Duelists from all over will attend to compete for exclusive prizes, earn invites to their World Championship Qualifier, and spend the weekend Dueling, trading, and hanging out with hundreds of other Yu-Gi-Oh! fans.

In addition to the main Championship Series tournament, there are numerous Public Events, including tournaments specifically for Duelists born in 2006 or later, Attack of the Giant Card!! and Regional Qualifier tournaments. Competitive or casual, there is something for everyone to do at a Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series weekend event.

Please note the location for YCS Knoxville has changed! The event has moved across the street from the previous location to the Knoxville Convention Center! See details below so you are prepared when you arrive for the event.

Dragon Duel Update

• • At the Yu-Gi-Oh Championship Series Knoxville, the Dragon Duel Public Event will be ADVANCED Constructed. Previously at a YCS, Dragon Duelists would compete using the product provided to them. But the time has come again for Dragon Duelists to compete using their own Decks! Dragon Duelists will need to bring a tournament-legal Deck in order to compete in the Saturday and/or Sunday Dragon Duel Public Event. The winners of the Saturday and the Sunday Dragon Duel events will play off for the Dragon Duel Championship to win Prize Cards and a Trophy on Sunday at the YCS.

• • For Dragon Duelists who do not have a Deck but would still like to play, we will offer an additional Dragon Duel Public Event, using the new Speed Duel Starter Decks. This is a more casual Dragon Duel, and all Dragon Duelists who enter will compete using  a Speed Duel Starter Deck. This Starter Deck will be provided free of charge, for the Dragon Duelist to keep afterwards. Dragon Duelists can be among the first to learn about this new and exciting format, and get brand new product!Participating in this special Speed Duel event will not qualify Dragon Duelists to compete in the Dragon Duel Championship Playoff nor will it award any invites to the Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier.
