The Yu-Gi-Oh! Day event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, January 28 – 29, 2023

Yu-Gi-Oh! Day is a day for all to celebrate the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand, create excitement for our brand at our Official Tournament Stores (OTS), and to further distinguish OTS from non-OTS. Yu-Gi-Oh! Day is held simultaneously throughout North America. The next Yu-Gi-Oh! Day will be held as a one-day event scheduled to occur on either Saturday, January 28, 2023 or Sunday, January 29, 2023.

Duelists will be able to participate in a Sanctioned tournament at all participating Official Tournament Stores (OTS), with exclusive prizes only available at an OTS.

Duelists in North America will pay $13.50 USD ($20.25 CAD) to receive three (3) packs of Amazing Defenders and entry in the event. Any required sales tax is not included in the cost of registration.

If the event is hosted as a Remote Duel event, OTS are allowed to charge a reasonable amount in order to ship out any prizing earned (commensurate and top prizing), should the prizing need to be shipped to the Duelist. Prizing can also be picked up in-store or curbside, in accordance with individual OTS policies. All shipping costs must be clarified with all participants prior to the start of Registration. OTS who are currently offering curbside pick-up at their OTS location may offer this service to local participants.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Day Prize distribution will be as follows:

    • First place winner, after the conclusion of the last round of Swiss, will receive an exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! Day Game Mat.
    • Top 8 Duelists, after the conclusion of the last round of Swiss, will each receive an exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! Day Field Center Card.
  • A second Yu-Gi-Oh! Day Game Mat is to be randomly distributed as a participation prize amongst Duelists who participated in the event. This Game Mat cannot be awarded to a Duelist that has already won the Game Mat. A Duelist that has won a Field Center Card (2nd thru 8th place) may be eligible to win the second Game Mat.
  • At the OTS’ discretion and cost, the above prizes may be supplemented with additional Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG product or accessories.

Only KDE-US-approved OTS are permitted to host a Yu-Gi-Oh! Day event.
