We wanted to make you aware that out of great care for the health and safety of the Yu-Gi-Oh! community and due to the ever-changing situation surrounding COVID-19, KONAMI and the Yu-Gi-Oh TRADING CARD GAME team have decided to cancel all Regional Qualifiers scheduled through April 6 in North America and Latin America effective immediately. Decisions about future events will be made with serious consideration of the official recommendations from federal and local health authorities.

Below, we are providing you with the official statement from KONAMI with more information about this decision, along with resources for monitoring updates on future events, which you are welcome to publish immediately. As noted previously, the KONAMI team continues to monitor this situation closely and we will continue to provide you with updates on this rapidly evolving situation as they become available.

Dear Duelists –

Out of great care for the health and safety of the Yu-Gi-Oh! community and due to the ever-changing situation surrounding COVID-19, we have decided to cancel all Regional Qualifiers scheduled through April 6 in North America and Latin America effective immediately. This was decided with the best interests of both our fans and Tournament Organizers in mind, and similarly, decisions about future events will be made with serious consideration of the official recommendations from federal and local health authorities. We sincerely apologize if this has caused any inconvenience for players, staff and judges planning to attend.

We will continue to monitor the situation that is developing daily and will work with our Tournament Organizers to provide updates on upcoming Regional Qualifiers as they become available. These updates will be posted to our website incorporated within each respective Regional Qualifier’s event page, which can be found here:
