Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG is excited to announce special guests at the North America TCG WCQ: Greg Abbey as Jean-Claude Magnum from the Battle City arc, facing Oliver Wyman as Zigfried von Schroeder of the Grand Championship arc!
The North America World Championship Qualifier (WCQ) is an invite-only tournament, where Duelists will compete for a chance to represent North America at the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship tournament, held in Japan on August 4-5, 2018. The winner of the WCQ will receive paid travel and accommodations, along with a host of other prizes, and the title of “North America WCQ Champion 2018.” Runners-up will also receive exciting prizes.
The North America TCG WCQ is a 3-day event. On Friday, June 29th, Duelists who have not qualified for the WCQ can play in Last Chance Qualifiers to earn an invite for the WCQ (Last Chance Qualifiers begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 29th). The actual WCQ itself will begin on Saturday, June 30th.
In addition to the North America TCG WCQ, there will be numerous Public Events to participate in during all three days.
