TOMY International, Inc. Heathside Trading, Ltd., and Trade Invaders Sign On, Fueling Visibility and Availability throughout Europe
Konami Cross Media NY, Inc., the company that manages the Yu-Gi-Oh! Licenses rights outside of Asia, announced its partnerships with TOMY International, Inc., Heathside Trading, Ltd., and Trade Invaders. The agreements will extend the reach of the well-known Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise throughout Europe with innovative new product lines.
As Vice President of Licensing and Marketing for Konami Cross Media NY, Jennifer Coleman expressed enthusiasm for the partnerships: “We are pleased to conclude these new licensing agreements which will produce a wide range of innovative, high-quality toys and game products for Yu-Gi-Oh! fans… We are excited for the strong manufacturing and distribution networks of both Heathside Trading and Trade Invaders to bring Yu-Gi-Oh! products into homes across Europe.”
Under the deal with TOMY International, the company’s Club Mocchi-Mocchi-™ plush range is set to debut in the second half of 2023. The collection will also feature MEGA Club Mocchi-Mocchi-™ Yu-Gi-Oh! and be sold widely in both mass market and specialty stores.
Heathside Trading, with its strong distribution network throughout the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Holland, Belgium and Italy, will add to the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise with a variety of board games, puzzles, and branded chairs and mega boxes.
Finally, Trade Invaders will develop and produce new Yu-Gi-Oh! video games and branded Switch cases, Switch controllers, Switch joysticks and PS4 controllers for European and MENA markets.
Following 25 years and over 25 billion units of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME sold, the future is bright for this much-loved Anime franchise. With its new line of toys and games coming to Europe through Konami Cross Media NY’s partnerships with TOMY International, Heathside Trading, Ltd., and Trade Invaders, it will no doubt continue to captivate and entertain its beloved fans.
