Konami Digital Entertainment today announced the upcoming release of Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) Speed Duel GX: Midterm Destruction, a set of special boosters based on the popular Yu-Gi-Oh! GX animated series.
Speed Dueling is a fast-paced twist on the classic Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, designed with the younger generation of Duelists in mind. Each player starts off with a Decks of 20 easy-to-build cards and 4000 Life Points. The decks are based on pre-built Decks for Jaden Yuki, Sartorius, Tyranno Hassleberry, and Jim Cook from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX animated series.
Speed Duel GX: Midterm Destruction adds 90 cards new to Speed Dueling. There are four complete 40 total-card Speed Duel Decks, as well as 20 Secret Rare variants of popular GX-era cards. Fans of the show will see some of their favorite characters come to life with cards like Dr. Crowler’s Belowski and Mokey Mokey King.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Speed Duel GX: Midterm Destruction mini box set launches on Friday, March 29th with each booster box containing four Speed Duel Decks, 20 Secret Rare cards and one 2-Player Jaden & Sartorius Deluxe Game Mat and has a MSRP of $15.99 per box.
